First Church Nashville - Senior Citizen's Minsitry

At First Church, we are blessed to have a lively and energetic group of Senior Citizens who are more active than ever in their Christian faith. The goal of the Young At Heart is to challenge senior adults with Psalm 92:12-15, which says, "The righteous flourish like the palm tree, and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in the house of the Lord, they flourish in the courts of our God. They still bring forth fruit in old age, they are ever full of sap and green, to show that the Lord is upright; He is my rock and there is no unrighteousness in him."

This exciting ministry meets one Thursday each month for a special luncheon, as well as for various seasonal activities. In addition, the Young At Heart take an annual trip each year. Trips in recent years have included destinations such as Washington D.C. and Charleston, South Carolina.
