Family Enrichment Class
At First Church, we believe that marriages were
designed for a lifetime. Not only that, marriage is not something
to be "endured" until death do us part, but a lifetime
commitment of joy and fulfillment designed specifically for
you and your mate by God himself.
Our Family Enrichment Ministry has been designed
with the needs of couples in mind. We want to assist you in
finding solutions to your problems as well as discovering
new inspirations for the love and enjoyment God intended for
you and your spouse. You will enjoy inspirational teachings
rooted in the timeless Word of God that will help your marriage
to grow and flourish.
In our Family Enrichment Class, you will build
relationships with our couples that will last a lifetime.
From our annual Family Enrichment Retreat (for couples) to
a seasonal activities, the FEC offers a great way to get to
know other married couples in the congregation. We invite
you to make your marriage a priority . . . Come and join us
each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. in the Family Enrichment
Class.
Family Enrichment Retreat
Join us at Lake Barkley (Kentucky) in October (usually every year , but sometimes every other year)
for a wonderful time of practical teaching, fellowship, and
relaxation. This retreat, one of the highlights of the Family
Enrichment Ministry, is always a memorable time for our couples.
Whether eating in the dining room, playing games in the recreation
room, or simply taking a stroll on one of the many walking
trails, this weekend will help you to unplug from the everyday
routine and concentrate on your most important earthly relationship--your
marriage.
